Comfy in Converse

So nice not to have to cover up head to toe and have a tights-free outfit! I've had this dress for months but have only worn it once, and to be honest didn't really like how it fit. I might try it as a dress again soon and see what YOU think... but this jumper took away the 'sack-like' effect the dress has on it's own. Can't get enough of my briefcase: makes me feel like such a nerd in college. Am on the hunt for an old leather strap so I can wear it over the shoulder also. 5000 words done of my thesis. 20 degrees all week and I've either been studying or working :( 

Style-Crush on Jules

I recently, through Instagram, discovered the blogger Julie Sarinara also known as Jules. She has almost converted me into a West Coast fan with her amazing chic Cali style. Even though I will always be a lover of NY and the East coast, Jules does make the warm-casual feeling of California extremely appealing. I am in love with how she uses colour and accessorizing to complete the most sophisticated and funky look. Here are a few of my favorite photos from Sincerely, Jules.

I have wanted a green parka jacket for sooo long, but have found it quite difficult to find one that is nicely fitted. Jules has re-inspired me to start hunting again. I think it's the perfect summer jacket to throw on over a casual outfit when the evenings get nippy! She has also prompted me to build on my stash of accessories and dig out my old comfy Converse.... So thank you Jules!!! xxx

Still can't get my head around the price of these pants: BARGAIN. Today was the perfect day to finish off my birthday week. Felt like the beginning of summer with blue skies, sunnies and beers! I actually love nothing more than a new white item: so clean and fresh. This white shirt is perfection. The necklace I wore today (sneak peak under the collar above) is a necklace my Mama bought HER Mama when she was twelve. Just imagining my tiny mom saving up weeks in advance and picking this out specially gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Hope you all enjoyed my birthday week as much as I did. "It's my birthday I can cry if I wana" ... it's finally here. Got up at seven this morning to open Austin's presents and was more than spoiled! My Michael Kors watch is more perfect than I could have wished for. This outfit would look much better without my sickly pale skin but OH WELL! Hope you're all having a fabulous day. I'm off to a home cooked meal by Mama Bear and delicious Lemon-curd-sponge cake! More prezzies to come :) xxxx

FINALLY! A Post I can feel fuzzy inside about! I'm loving this jacket. It's the perfect combination for Irish Spring weather: looks summery, but keeps you warm. As you all know, after tomorrow it will be MY BIRTHDAY, and hopefully I can share with you new outfits using my NEW BIRTHDAY CLOTHES. Went window-shopping today and my craving for the SS Sandro Collection left me STARVING!!! It's items have the flawless balance between edgy and pretty: Yum.

Being Lazy

Im so sorry. This is probably the worst and uninspiring post EVER! Recent days consist of : thesis, procrastinating, eating, yoga, drinking tea, eating and eating! These are just some left overs from our London trip. I ended up buying this briefcase in Portobello, trés excited to wear it. My birthday is in 6 and a half days. For those who know me know this is a very big deal. I am trying to think of a word best to describe me when it comes to the weeks leading up to my birthday...hmmm...aha : MONSTER. I expect everyone to be extra nice to me and I torment my boyfriend/friends with lists of things I would like. Anyway, my birthday being next week means less thesis work and more outfit posts: YAY!!!

Guess what I just found on 'Olsens Anonymous'!!!?? Check out my new stalker. OBV she saw my latest outfit post and loved it. As my friend Ele always says: "Imitation is the best form of flattery." Tralalalalalaaaa....God, what a copycat!!! :)

So, what's the verdict? Who is pulling off the red suit? Who am I kidding. No one out does an Olsen.
