I love the contrast of the straight lines of the vest against the flowy, light texture of this jacket.
And my random obsession with Mason jars continues. Picked up a dozen for a future blog project!
These pleather pants are oldies, but goodies!
The Roebling Tea Rooms.
Eggs, beets, kale and goats cheese plate. Divine!
A beautiful Brooklyn day. Tea rooms, graffiti spotting, blogging, antique hunting - all the makings of the perfect afternoon. The Roebling tea rooms, on Roebling and Metropolitan, is the ideal spot for a small bite to eat. The interior is terrific and bright, with an antique rustic feel. Us Irish are known to be mad tea drinkers, but even if you aren't a tea fanatic, it's hard not to be lured and impressed by the extended menu, from jasmine to fresh ginger and lemon, all garnished elegantly.
This OOTD leads me to a wardrobe tip: I find that if you can have a few staple items in your closet that match perfectly colour-wise, they can really tie an outfit together and give it fluidity. For example, in this outfit - the solid black of the sunglasses and vest, and equally the cream top and brogues.
