Red Sky at Night...

(Zara Shirt and Blazer, Cos Riding Pants, H&M Bag, River Island Boots)

I really hate taking photos at night time. They never come out as clear and I feel like I let the outfit down a bit. When I bought this blazer I didn't even think that it would match SO perfectly with these Cos pants - but here it is! This matching ensemble is feeding my craving for a 'pyjama inspired outfit' that is being seen in all the major fashion houses this Spring. It will do for now! Ps this shirt has saved so many 'WTF will a wear' days.

Summer Feeling

(Zara Blazer, Urban Outfitters Dress, Primark Tights, Topshop Socks, Jeffrey Campbell Ford Heels, The Cobra Shop Sunglasses)

I love that colours are back in for the summer. Whether its clashing or matching colours I adore making simple or crazy combinations. I never get to wear these tights, only because I feel they're really only suitable for days that are sunny, but a bit on the chilly side. Days like these dont come that often in Dublin! These almost opaque tights really filled me up with that warm fuzzy feeling of Summer and the anticipation of Summer clothes. But first: Thesis.

iCatchers: Colours

Because I'm so behind with keeping up with my blogs and organizing my saved photos into their usual categories, I haven't had a chance to do my weekly iCatchers post. Since you've all missed it so much (You probably didn't even notice it's absence!) I'm going to do three different ones this week. There is just too many beautiful ensembles and inspirations out there to ignore and I love love love doing these posts so get ready for:
1. Colours
2. Fur, and
3. Neutrals.
Three trends which I hope I can totally SMASH (ha, this is me practicing sounding American, only 5 months 'til the big move!).

Kill City

(Topshop Bag and Jacket, Jeffrey Campbell Fords, American Apparel Skirt, Kill City Jumper)

I hate having barely any time to spend on the actual writing part of my blog. Feels like I'm not giving it enough love or attention. But I seriously have NO time atm. I used to have at least an hour a day spent on bloglovin' picking up ideas and inspirations, but it reached an all time low the other day when my bloglovin' 'unread posts' was 500+ !!!! This sort of this makes me extremely anxious : ( So I think getting up an hour early each day is a must. This was my day two look in London...hope you like! xxx

Royalty

(Bershka Pants, Jeffrey Campbell Ford Heels, Topshop Bag, H&M Jumper, Miss Selfridge Coat)

Austin was doing a course in London this week so I went to visit for a few days. I loved London as usual and I spent my days creeping on the amazing street style!! I have literally been looking for a pair of pants just like these for years now and they were everything I had hoped they'd be. A bit on the low-cut side but just right in every other way. My thesis is due in a month and I have barely started. So the next few weeks will be spent looking like a half-human creature and wearing clothes that I am embarrassed to have hidden in my closet. I'll keep you posted on how it goes, and let you know if I actually find the answer to the topic of my thesis: 'Is Fashion Art?'

Dots and Hearts

(Vintage bag, Topshop Lingerie, Whistles Jumper, Urban Outfitters Blazer, JC Litas)

Was happy how my lingerie held up on my midday stroll!!! Not too many funny looks... always a good sign. I didn't win the styling competition. Missed out by 40 votes :( but because it was so close I am still getting a prize so I'm happy (I'm not actually, I hate losing!). So between not winning and getting a ticket fine for €100, today was not the best of days. My thesis has to be finished in less than a month and it's still looking like a bomb. Im hoping you like the outfit of the day and that your lives are less hectic than mine! Night xxx
