iCatchers: Peplum

A trend which I plan on KILLING :) Jil Sander's Spring 2011 collection jump-started a 'peplum craze.' From Moschino to Giambattista Valli, the peplum style has spread throughout the fashion world. The latest MSGM collection has a range of unique interpretations of the peplum style. I love the way it ranges from dresses to tops, and the selection of ways in which street stylers are styling it.

How Now Brown Cow

(Cos Shirt, Topshop Belt and Wedges, Lovely Day Dress Via Nasty Gal, Vintage Clutch, The Cobra Shop Sunglasses, Michael Kors Watch)

These shoes: IN LOVE. Don't want to take them off... Ever. I received a comment on my last post wondering if the feedback on Topshop.com was correct in saying that they are easily broken. But I am wearing them to death, and thus far they are perfect. They are sold out online, but I would encourage anyone lucky enough to find them in-store to snatch them up. I thought that a khaki parka jacket would have been the cherry on top with this outfit. Has anyone seen any iCatching ones? Would love any tips? I need one asap. xxx

Kitty-Cat

(Zara Skirt, Ray Bans, Topshop Wedges and old Jumper)
So, finally handed in my thesis. Surprisingly handing it in was a bit of an anti-climax. And now I have to start studying for my finals which start in three weeks. July is getting closer and closer though....which only means one thing - NEW YORK!!! Was like a savage looking for these shoes in my size - and at last they're mine. Had planned to wear my skinny leopard print belt with this outfit, pinching the jumper at the waist, but it still hasn't arrived in my ASOS order :( Hopefully I'll have more time now to dedicate to blog posts. If ONLY I could do it full-time. Some day soon, maybe! xxx

iCatchers: Masculine Touch

Whether you're going the full hog in a top to toe masculine suit, or simply adding a pair of MAN-ISH boots, a masculine look can be achieved very easily. I love the range of varying ways in which bloggers and fashion-lovers are putting a masculine twist on their outfits. I think it's important to keep a feminine vibe, but I am on the hunt for the perfect suit and tie :) Obsessing over Christine Centenera's overall look, especially those FABULOUS boots.

Glum

(Topshop Tee, Necklace and Shorts, Urban Outfitters Blazer, Converse)

Photos taken by Hannah Ryan

I realize I am looking rather odd in these photos. Maybe I was going for the Man Repeller 'crazy eyes' look. Who knows! Austin has started training me and has twenty days to get me looking like Candice Swanepoel. Ha. I've realized that working out twice a day leaves you exhausted and unable to read through the 7000 words on your laptop screen. Not good. If i don't have blue sparkly eyes and endless long legs by the end of these three weeks I will not be a happy bunny. I think I'm going to stock up on comfy t-shirts for these study months. Don't feel like wearing anything else!

iCatchers: Wide Leg

The Wide-Leg trend is a favourite of mine. As you can see it's a style that has been mastered and spread by top bloggers and street style fashionistas. A super comfy garment that can be paired with an equally lose t-shirt or jumper, or an elegantly coloured fitted top. I'd be silly not to try it!

Wizard

(Urban Outfitters Blazer and Dress worn as skirt, Elizabeth and James Shirt, Vintage Bag and Boots, Michael Kors Watch)

Finally wearing my Elizabeth and James 'cape'!!! My navy and black love affair is everlasting as you can see, and was ideal  for the warm/cloudy day. These beautiful boots are stolen from my mom's wardrobe and I don't think they will be returned for a while: delicious! Loving the sparkle in the dress and the combining shine off the gold embroidery of the shirt.
