Zara.com

(Topshop Jacket, COS Shirt, Zara Stole, Jeffrey Campbell Litas, Phanuel Shorts)
I have only in the last month found out that Zara do free delivery to any Zara Store in Ireland!! So you can imagine now Zara.com is a regular open tab on my laptop. This stole was calling to me before the Sales arrived and then I was fortunate to spot it half price after Christmas. I went and picked it up this morning and it did everything I imagined it would to my outfit!!! This item is going to transform many ensembles to come : ) PS don't you just LOVE the packaging?!?

iCatchers

So these are my iCatching moments from the past week. The first photo is of a blogger I ONLY discovered this week: Where Did You Get That. I cant believe I'm only stumbling upon her now. She is a london girl who has recently given up her given up her 9-5 office job to become a full-time blogger, which I admire and envy (along with her staggering collection of creepers!!). I am DYING for a jumpsuit like this one worn in photo number two. It looks super comfy and I havent seen one like it around. To finish up and not blabber on, these Isabel Marant sneakers are being added to my birthday list. And lastly, people who have gaps between their front teeth are SO lucky, I just think it's so pretty!

QUEEN-B

I hope I'm not alone when I say: I love Rachel Bilson. Ever since she starred in The OC, I have been a RB obsessor! From her depiction as the ultimate valley girl in the show, to her reality of being THE style savant LA girl, Rachel can do no wrong. I think her style is simple, chic and effortless, and I want to share some of her best, and my favourite, moments with you. Beginning with pics from where my adoration blossomed, RB as Summer Roberts in The OC, everyones favourite character! Enjoy....

My Bay

(Urban Outfitters Blazer, American Apparel Shirt and Shorts, Topshop Brogues)

I pulled a muscle in my back when disposing of the Christmas tree last week and have had to stay in flats, much to my disappointment. I've been walking around (when I can move) like an old lady and I'm looking forward to looking normal again! I was initially excited about wearing these 'running' shorts with heels and opposing they're intentional use completely. But that look will just have to wait....

Navy/White Contrast

(COS T-shirt, Topshop Pants, Steve Madden Heels, Tiffany & Co Necklace)

These pants make me so happy! They are super comfy and I'm in love with the pattern on them. I always find it quite hard to find a nice white t-shirt, and I'm not saying this one is perfect, but I'm getting closer to the type I want.

iCatchers

On top of my outfit posts, I've decided to add a few more weekly additions to my blog. I have already started with my new tutorials, but think there's much more I can share with you so that you understand where my inspiration comes from. One of my New Years Resolutions was to make the blog more part of my daily life and routine, and to get to know my followers a bit better! This week these pics are what got me brainstorming. The excitement I get from these photos and ideas is what I love about following blogs and being a blogger myself. Hope this new additional post will please and inspire my followers as much as it has done for me.

Tutorial: Browns

Step One.

Step Two.

Step Three.

Step Four.

Step Five.

Step Six.

Step Seven.

Final Look.

All that Glitters, Cork, Folie, Antiqued

Eyeshadows same as above, Clarins skin illusion 112, MAC Bronzer, MAC Studio Fix, Essence Mascara, Catrice Liquid Eyeliner, Illamasqua Bronzer Brush, The Body Shop Blusher Brush.

I dont like breaking habit when it comes to makeup. I find a new finish I like and I pretty much stick to it until I'm inspired by someone or something else! What I like with this look you could apply mascara at any given step and it would be complete. The earlier you do this (in the steps above) the more natural and 'everyday' the look would be.

1) Step one I applied The Clarins Foundation equally on my face. I then covered this with the Studio Fix powder. I use the MAC Bronzer only under my cheek bones as a blusher. Face done!
2) I applied a MAC cream base (Paint pot in 'groundwork') which can be used under eyeshadow to help it last the day, or I find it can be nice left on its own with mascara.
3) Over this I applied 'Cork' in an even layer. Blend this towards the upper eye lid. Under your eye, you can apply a thick line of this. 'All that Glitters' can be lightly put on directly under the eyebrow, giving a highlighted effect.
4) Step four, is used'folie' in the creases of the eye lid and directly under your eyelashes.
5) With a slightly larger eyeshadow brush I applied only a small amount (it can come out quite dark) of 'antiqued' again to the crease of the eyelid and under the eye.
6) The final steps are applying the liquid eyeliner and,
7) Your mascara of choice, Voilá!

This is my first tutorial I've posted. Sorry if it's hard to follow. I'm open to any suggestions in making it more straightforward. Hopefully soon I'll be brave and find the courage to do a video tutorial. Baby steps!
